    Single Tooth Implants

You may be missing some teeth and it’s important to replace them. Eating with or chewing on your temporary substitute can cause discomfort in the short term, but more importantly, will lead you to have an improper bite that could make eating difficult over time! First, the dentist will place an implant base into your jawbone that looks like natural bone. You’ll need time to heal before fitting any crowns onto them because they’re not fully integrated into the jawbone. Once fully healed, the final step in the process is to place a custom-fitted crown on top of your implant.

    Multiple Tooth Implants

Tooth loss is never easy to deal with, but you can get a great smile again even if you are missing more than one tooth. Multiple tooth implants may be needed or desired to permanently replace multiple teeth. Titanium implant bases are put into your jawbone in place of missing roots. Once these implants fuse to your jawbone and completely heal, crowns are made to cover the abutments so that your smile can return to looking and feeling amazing!

    Dental Implant FAQs

Implants are a tooth replacement option that involves placing a new “root” into your jaw. Once this titanium rod has fused with the bone it can be used to support crowns, bridges, or dentures and even replace partials if needed.

Dental implants are a long-lasting solution that doesn’t require replacement like bridges or dentures. With this treatment, you’ll never have to worry about causing damage to your neighboring teeth because it leaves them healthy and in place!

The list of people who can benefit from dental implants is endless. Even those with extreme cases can qualify for this treatment! The best way to be sure is by scheduling a consultation with our expert, Dr. Ackerman.

Every person is unique, and the same goes for their smiles. That being said, in some cases, we can use an existing denture to accommodate the necessary attachments for implants. Scheduling a consultation with Dr. Ackerman will help determine if this would be the right choice for you.

Dental implants are one of the most successful procedures in dentistry, with documented success rates of over 95%. Factors that may contribute to long-term stability include original quality surgery, at-home care, and regular dental visits.

The length of time that traditional treatment takes can vary depending on how well your body’s bone matches up with the implant. If an additional procedure needs to be done, the total stay may range from six months upwards but same-day procedures are available for those who qualify.

Many patients who have had an implant report that it wasn’t any more painful than they expected and found the discomfort to be far less invasive than other procedures such as extractions, with most being able to take over-the-counter medication afterward if needed

Dental insurance coverage for implants can vary depending on your policy. The amount that an employer will spend on a company’s dental plan is dependent upon many factors, however, this doesn’t mean you’re left without care. Contact our finance team to learn more!

Good oral health is more important than age. People who have dentures can upgrade them to implant-supported ones for a better smile and speech, as well as greater chewing stability which allows food that was off-limits before to now come back into your life!

Special brushes and flosses must be used when performing home care for an implant. You will also need to visit our dentist at least once each year in addition to having regular checkups – this way we can ensure long-term success!

The cost of dental implant treatment can vary depending on many factors such as the number and type of teeth being replaced, and whether additional procedures need to be done for you to get the results you desire. For an accurate estimate, contact our team to schedule a consultation with our specialist!
